Vertex Inc. (NASDAQ: VERX) according to Oracle, customer adoption of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure has improved over the past 12 months. Joint customers using Vertex Indirect Tax Series O offers related to Oracle applications have experienced a 35% increase in performance in OCU compared to other configurations.

Customers can process more than 150 million transactions

The company is among the first tax technology partners to offer certified connections for Oracle products available at OCI and the adoption rate among customers continues to rise. To date, customers have managed to process more than 150 million monthly transactions for more than a billion transactions taking advantage of Vertex’s OCI tax offerings in 2021.

A regular consumer makes 100,000 international transactions daily, half of which require VAT compliance calculations, including 20 million tax regulations. Because these transactions often cross sales channels, the ability to process accurate tax calculations and transactions quickly and consistently influences not only compliance, but also business performance. Vertex uses the strong OIC computing services to resolve every transaction in milliseconds, resulting in a consistently superior user experience. In particular, Vertex makes use of OIC’s North American cloud regions and wants to expand into Germany.
